A Beautiful Bay Run
Both the 5K and 10K distances will start and finish near the “knoll” at Coyote Point Park and will head South along the amply-wide Bay Trail past the marina and Coyote Point Yacht Club. This large trail hugs the water’s edge for the majority of the run, giving participants stunning views of the San Francisco Bay and several of its bridges. The return path goes through the wooded Coyote Point “knoll” and past the famed Coyote Point Museum. Course map can be found by clicking here Runners will be greeted at the finish by a fun-filled festival area with post race food, drinks, and other surprises. The run will be limited to 1000 registrants in the 5k and 10k events, and each will receive a commemorative technical tee shirt. The Bay Vista 5K/10K Run will be benefiting Building Peaceful Families, who is a Silicon Valley 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health, safety, and well being of children by educating, honoring, and encouraging involved, responsible, and committed parenting. Since 2005, they have provided inspirational community programs and events, with a special outreach to children, senior citizens, and victims of domestic violence. For more information, visit their website: www.buildingpeacefulfamilies.org Please note that parking is $5 per vehicle at Coyote Point Park. Parking passes will be pre sold at packet pickup locations. We encourage carpooling or alternate forms of transportation.

We have taken the Pledge of Sustainability once again for this race as part of Athletes for a Fit Planet. Please join us in our efforts.
